he did it. my son graduated from bct (army basic training) at fort benning on a rainy april morning. georgia was beautiful and we had a blast with our son. thank you for your patience in my absence!

thank god for the wonderful drill sargeants, wifes, family and group leaders who take photos at basic training at fort benning. even though my son is on the other side of the country, i still get sneak peaks at his progress :) my son is smack in the middle. first in line on the right side of center (has glasses on) :)

project 365: a photo a day!
i am so excited to being doing this and to have completed my first month!! i love love LOVE photography and while making my 2012 book i noticed that although i got a new camera for christmas 2011, i negected it a lot and had less photos then previous years. SO, i challenged myself to pick up my camera everyday again this year, to document our 2013, one picture at a time.. here is january:

the girl behind the name . . .
we always loved the name autumn and it is our favorite season.. so when we knew she was a girl, my husband knew her name... while i had other names, now that she is autumn, i could not think of her as any other name.. she is our autumn ;)
note: sorry about the watermark on her face, but some girls in brazil think it is funny to take her photo and make fake social media profiles with her photo :(
it should be illegal to be this cute...
our pup, styx. he is now 3 months... and learned how to jump on the couch :)
