welcome to the world

so you all - this sweet little man is the little guy i watched come into this world. i never ever thought i would do a birth session and was shocked when asked and now honored to have had this experience. we did his newborn pics last week and in the words of my husband this little guy "showed us who was boss" during the session... i feel close to him since i saw him enter this world, isn't he the cutest?

okay, i don't want to say too much or i will start to cry and i have to leave for work soon, so i will just say that if you are a photographer, put a birth session on your "bucket list" :) i took over 700 photos, and am still post processing them to put to a slide show and with m's permission, would love to share with you all when it is done...

finishing up a custom logo "complimentary" design for a custom for her 2nd business. her first logo was a tree... this logo has the tree flowers, but then thread like lines to go with the "fiber" part of her business.

this is mr jones - peyton's guinea pig. i always had hamsters, but let me tell you, there is no contest - these guys are so social, they don't run away (look at him, he is posing) and they great you when you come in the room (it may help that we bring them fresh veggies :)

we are all shaped, in some way by a special mom in our life. whether she is your biological mom, your adopted mom, your best friends mom, your grandma, your aunt, your godmother (your nina), your boyfriends mom, your teacher, your husband's mom, your dad who played the part of mom when he needed to, your late mom, your coach, or just some wonderful woman who took you under her wing. whether she is still on this earth, in heaven above or miles away, she is close in your heart.

what i am working on now (in between the logos, my mind can never just do one thing) . . .

i am going to try and add some premade etsy shop sets. i know there are some sellers/store owners that may not have either have a need, a vision for what they want or a budget yet for a logo, but want something to liven up there shop. to have something that says "this shop rocks." to have a shop set (banner, avatar and "custom listing" graphics) that are not the regular clip art stuff out there, but more custom, more "etsyesque" (that is my new word, i am going to trademark it :)

so, my idea for the first set is some clothing. . . highlighted by a pillowcase style dress or two - if you have any ideas for me, jot 'em down!
